Dr. Lynn Moore Tucker joined Lexington Surgical Associates in 2007 from private practice with University Surgical Associates in Augusta, Georgia, where the bulk of her practice consisted of breast and endocrine surgery. She received her undergraduate degree from Clemson University and graduated medical school from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Tucker completed her general surgical residency at the Medical College of Georgia and obtained her Board certification in 1997 and recertified in 2006. Dr. Tucker has conducted several lectures and seminars on the topic of breast cancer and the care of patients who have breast cancer, including “Care of the Mastectomy Patient”, Lexington Medical Center Nursing Conference, October 2007; “Detection and Treatment of Early Stage Breast Cancer”, MD Anderson/University Hospital Cancer Symposium 2004; and “The Human Breast”, Annual Clinical Gross Anatomy Lecture, Medical College of Georgia.
